ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Katie, and I am glad you are here! I am a Floral Designer and absolutely love to work in the Wedding and Event Industry. I started in the Event Industry in 2016 working small events and Weddings here and there and became an Event Coordinator in 2018. I am hands-on at all of my events with an amazing team who works beside me. 

A love for florals has been embedded deep within my being since I was a little girl. I have fond memories of walking through my Granny’s immaculately well-kept garden at a very young age, all the way until I moved away from Kentucky as an 18-year-old. I was amazed with the variety of colors and textures and would watch her in awe tending to her garden, pulling weeds, watering for what seemed hours at a time. She would ask me to help, and I would say yes, every single time. I just remember how beautiful the experience was, watching her loving hands and flawless techniques. I remember how therapeutic it was even at such a young age.

it wasn’t until recently, November of 2020 that I created my first Wedding Bouquet for my dear friend's elopement. Around that same time, I started entertaining the thought of becoming a floral designer. I shadowed a few different florists and my love very quickly developed into a new-found passion. Taking that passion now and turning it into a part of my everyday life seems like a magical dream that I never want to wake up from. I am excited to take you all on this journey with me and to see what happens next.
